In my wife’s opinion, the room could use quieter windows for a better sleep experience, especially for families.

Ideal for Savvy Travelers
You'll love the free cappuccino machine in the lobby, helps you wake up in a pinch! ! The staff were incredibly nice and helped me navigate public transport like pros. they even had maps ready.
It's not exactly a steal, but still fairly reasonable.

I had a great time staying here! The room was small but super clean and cozy, and the free coffee in the lobby was a nice bonus. I loved being so close to the bus routes, making it easy to explore the city. The only downside was the noise from the street traffic at night.

Comfortable bed, clean room, with free coffee in the morning and helpful staff who allowed us to check in early.

Excellent location with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The room was clean and well-equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge, making our stay very convenient. Staff were particularly helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. A downside was the lack of an elevator, which made accessing our first-floor room slightly challenging for seniors in our group. The coffee was fantastic, perfectly brewed every morning.

The location of Casa Loma is fantastic. It’s close to popular areas like the Lower Haight and the Castro, making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the complimentary coffee each morning, perfect for kickstarting my day. The room itself was small but relatively clean, and I had a private bathroom, which is a plus. However, the noise level is quite high. The street traffic kept me awake at night, even with the windows closed. The lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during warmer nights. I also found the overall condition of the building to be lacking. The walls are thin, and I could hear my neighbors talking. It could definitely use some updates to improve sound insulation. While my room was tidy, the carpet felt old and not very clean. Check-in was quick, but there are no elevators, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. Despite the negatives, I would consider staying here again for the price and location, as long as I could get a quieter room.

If you’re into local flavors, Nickies and NARA Restaurant & Sake Bar are just a hop away, serving some delicious eats that’ll make your taste buds dance! The friendly staff was super chill, and the location puts you right in the heart of San Francisco's vibe.
The stairs are a workout, and I missed my morning brew since coffee's only served from 7 am to noon—who doesn't want coffee at 6 am? Still, it's a cozy spot with its quirks that brings lots of character!
